The Key Account Manager will represent the division at the Customer for User Experience activity. He will be responsible for the following tasks :

Organization:

  • Understand and anticipate the customer’s global expectations; develop and coordinate the divisional customer strategy; and then communicate, lead, and coordinate the divisional User Experience activity to ensure compliance and achievement of these and to grow / develop the business with the customer.

  • Implementation of the 5 years business plan

Commercial:

  • Build good relationship with the customer that enhances the image of the Division / Product Group / Aptiv.

  • Develop the worldwide business through a growth plan. Manage the Request For Quotation internally with all competencies and front of RNA Group. Negotiate prices, obtain purchase contract/orders, and ensure that invoices are paid.

  • Follow the program in development and make sure appropriate sales support and expertise are provided to the development team.

  • Establish the sales budget, and manage the sales forecast.

  • Select prepare and lead the business pursuits in line with the 5 years business plan, internally and with the customer to ensure targeted win rate.

  • Understand and facilitate resolution of quality, service, price / terms of sale, profit, technology, responsiveness, and performance issues. The Sales Manager will work with the division and/or business unit to manage these issues in whatever structure and framework that is applicable for the business.

  • Propose new technologies and support Advance Engineering team front of the customer to develop the portfolio product.

Teamwork:

  • Be knowledgeable of all customer programs; interface with Global Account Director / divisional program managers who are working on specific customer forward programs; interact with and connect all divisional functions (sales, engineering, quality, logistics, etc.) to ensure that the customer’s expectations are being communicated and met.

  • Work with worldwide Engineering team; communicate technical requirements and trends back to the division and Aptiv technical centers.

Essential requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration

  • Fluent English

  • Experience in sales with RNA Group (mandatory)

  • Experience of minimum 5 years in the Automotive industry

  • Experience in the Electronics products

  • Good communication skills

  • Legal (Business and Contracts law) knowledge

  • Willing to travel

  • International exposure
